How to install an eSIM on iPhone and Android, step by step

After you buy from Rafeeq, you'll get the install code by email, and you'll also find it in “My eSIMs”. Installing takes two minutes, and it's best done while you're still at home with internet.

On iPhone

1. From the app or the eSIM page, tap “Install” (if your phone supports direct install), or scan the QR code with the camera from another device.
2. Or go to Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → Use QR Code.
3. Give the eSIM a name that reminds you of the country, e.g. “Turkey”.
4. Keep your home line for calls and set the new eSIM for Cellular Data (do this when you land).

On Samsung and Android

1. Go to Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM.
2. Choose “Scan QR code” and scan it, or enter the code manually if shown.
3. Wait until the eSIM appears in the list.

When you arrive

• Turn on the new eSIM and make it the one used for Mobile Data.
• Turn on Data Roaming for the travel eSIM. That's normal and doesn't use your home balance.
• To avoid any charges on your home line, turn off roaming on it.

Data not working?

Restart the phone, make sure roaming is on for the travel eSIM and that it's selected for data. If it still doesn't work, chat with Rafeeq and you'll get help right away.
